Elon Musk Welcomes 14th Child with Shivon Zilis

Billionaire entrepreneur and Tesla and SpaceX CEO Elon Musk has added to his family again. His long-time partner, Shivon Zilis, recently gave birth to their fourth child, increasing Musk’s number of children to 14. This comes after it was revealed that Musk also had another child with author Ashley St. Clair, showing the complexity of his expanding family.

Musk and Zilis’ Expanding Family

Shivon Zilis, a Musk’s Neuralink executive, posted the news of their latest child, Seldon Lycurgus, in a loving message on X (formerly Twitter). She called him “built like a juggernaut, with a solid heart of gold,” saying how much she loved him. Musk replied with just a heart emoji.

Musk and Zilis already had twins Strider and Azure in 2021, then their daughter Arcadia in 2024. Arcadia’s first birthday recently was on the same day that Musk announced their new son.

Musk has been talking about the need for population growth for years, frequently speaking about having larger families. Musk has children with several different partners, including his former wife Justine Wilson, musician Grimes, and most recently Ashley St. Clair.

Zilis has avoided much of the public eye, instead devoting herself to her artificial intelligence and tech work. She has received a fresh round of publicity from her association with Musk and their expanding family, however. Although the public is fascinated by the news, she has decided to leave many parts of their personal lives alone.

Ashley St. Clair’s Shocking Revelation

In a shocking twist, author Ashley St. Clair broke the news that she had secretly given birth to Musk’s 13th child five months prior. St. Clair had initially kept the information confidential but decided to make it public after news made it out in the media.

According to her, she and Musk had been in the process of negotiating an agreement as to who should raise their child. She, however, called on Musk to officially acknowledge their son, whose initials are R.S.C.

It’s now a case of a court battle, a judge having ruled that Musk attend court on May 29 for matters related to the custody of R.S.C. St. Clair’s spokesperson underlined the fact that she is holding off for Musk to define himself as a father.

Musk’s personal life tends to attract media attention, particularly as he continues to father children with multiple women. His interactions with the mothers of these children also seem to be somewhat different, ranging from openly showing respect and admiration, such as for Zilis and Grimes, to demanding more exposure for their children, as in the case of St. Clair.

A Complex and Expanding Legacy

Elon Musk’s family has expanded over the years. He and Justine Wilson first had Nevada Alexander, born in 2002, who sadly died at the age of only 10 weeks. They then had twins Vivian and Griffin (20 years old now) and triplets Kai, Saxon, and Damian (19 years old now).

Musk has three children with Grimes: X Æ A-12 (age 4), Exa Dark Sideræl (age 3) and Techno Mechanicus (Tau, age 2).

Although tensions were once high between Grimes and Zilis over issues of the family, the two women eventually made up and acknowledged mutual support.

Musk’s constantly growing family is questionable regarding his role as a father, especially as he balances running several companies. Although he is famous for his vision of humanity’s future, his personal life is no less dramatic.

As court battles over custody play out, the public is still fascinated by Musk’s unconventional style of family and fatherhood. For the time being, one thing is certain—his legacy reaches far beyond innovation and technology. Whether through his empire of business or his expanding family, Musk is continuing to forge the future in multiple ways.
