Vince Neil Private Jet Crashes – Girlfriend and Friend Survive

Vince Neil

A private jet registered to Vince Neil, lead singer of Motley Crue, crashed Monday at Scottsdale Airport in Arizona. The accident occurred on Monday afternoon when the plane veered off the runway as it attempted to land, crashing into another aircraft.

Luck would have it that Vince Neil was not on the flight, but his girlfriend, Rain Hannah and her friend Ashley were on board. Both survived but were injured and sent to the hospital.

Vince Neil Was Not on the Plane

The band’s manager, Allen Kovac, confirmed that Vince Neil is safe. He was not on the flight when the accident happened. The plane belonged to a company called Chromed in Hollywood, which is linked to Vince Neil.

Vince was heartbroken upon hearing news of the crash. He sent condolences to the families of the victims. Their manager also added that the band is trying to find ways on how to reach out to the families of the victims.

Passengers Injured But Alive

Rain Hannah and Ashley were on board the jet, which crashed to the ground. Emergency teams made it to the scene and immediately took them into the hospital. Rain has broken five ribs from the crash. However, Ashley’s injuries cannot be reported totally yet, although the two girls are expected to recover.

Two women were accompanied by dogs traveling in the air jet. And luckily, dogs survived the crush without any hurt.

What Caused the Crash?

The crash occurred when the aircraft was landing at Scottsdale Airport. According to reports, the left main landing gear failed, and the jet lost control, hitting another aircraft.

The officials closed the runway immediately for further investigation. Emergency teams arrived on the scene within a short time to assist the injured and seal off the area. The investigators are now examining the details of the crash to determine whether mechanical failure or pilot error was involved.

Vince Neil’s Response

Vince Neil was relieved that his girlfriend and her friend survived but was heartbroken for those who didn’t. His manager said that Vince and the band are considering ways to help the victims’ families during this difficult time.

Although Vince was not on the flight, the plane is linked back to him through his company. This linkage means investigators will most likely contact Vince for information on the maintenance and ownership of the jet.

Eyewitness Reports and Video Footage

Witness accounts at the airport claimed that the jet struggled with its landing, hitting another plane in the process. An online video of the crash surfaced which shows the exact impact moment.

According to this video, it can be verified that the plane belonged to Chromed in Hollywood, owned by Vince Neil.

Airport officials are viewing all video evidence, as well as footage from security cameras and flight information, to help figure out what caused the jet to crash.

Investigation Continues

The officials continue investigating the plane crash. The technical failure and whether it resulted from human error are being ascertained. Both the FAA and the NTSB have begun an investigation.

In the meantime, the Scottsdale Airport resumed its functions. However, pilots are requested to exercise a little more care since the crash is under investigation.

A Narrow Escape

Though the loss of life is tragic, Rain Hannah and Ashley were fortunate to have survived the accident. Rain has broken ribs, and it may take time for her to recover, but she is stable. The survival of Rain Hannah, Ashley, and the dogs is a small consolation in this otherwise tragic incident.

In the coming weeks, there will be more updates as investigators continue gathering information, and Vince Neil and his team decide how they can help the affected. At the moment, recovery for survivors and justice for the victims seem to be in focus.
